Orders & Delivery

To place your order, please select the products you wish to purchase and add them to the basket. You can review your basket before completing your order. If the products are available, you will receive an automatic email with information regarding the preparation of your order. You'll be informed about the status and you will get an email confirmation on the address indicated in your account details.

Payments methods
We accept PayPal, which is safe and easy to use. You can also pay with a credit card — we accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Apple Pay. Our provider of checkout services is Stripe. If you have any difficulties, please contact us.

All our prices are in euros (€). The prices of the products are as specified on our website (VAT included) and we reserve the right to modify these at any time. Shipping costs and customs duties are not included in the price.

Free pick up
Free pick up is available in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Mark when placing an order.

Duties & Taxes
All orders include VAT. Please note that if your order is being shipped outside the EU, you are subject to duties and import taxes which are the responsibility of the customer to pay. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.

How long does it take to receive my order?
Items will be shipped within 1-5 business days (if nothing else is stated in the product's information text). It normally takes up to 3-10 working days for the package to reach its destination. Shipping is charged at cost, as it appears on your order. We ship orders using Slovenian Postal Service, GLS and DHL Express, depending on the shipping address destination. You will have to sign for your package, so please make sure you will be able to receive it.

Returns & Exchanges
If you are not happy with the purchase please do get in touch immediately.You must immediately inform us by sending an e-mail to info@hibirdbooks.com in order for us to be able to fix the problem properly as soon as possible.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during the shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@hibirdbooks.com and please attach photos of damaged parts of an item.

You have 30 days to return the product you have purchased. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Please note we do not refund original shipping costs and you will have to cover the cost of return shipping. For exchanges, you will also be charged the cost of sending the new item.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@hibirdbooks.com.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
